"God is greater than we are" JOB 33:12
What causes us to believe we are great? Pride, unbelief, the feeling you know more than the other guy does? What if that guy can really help you? How often do we think we know more than God in our daily struggles. I recently have found out that my PTSD is far worse than I imagined and has caused some unwanted stress in me and my families life, and I actually believed that I was doing "Great" trying to fight it myself....not the case. The last time I checked, God is still God and I am not. He is also more powerful than the most awesome thing or event we could ever imagine. Do we really think we could do a better job without him? Try God today. Include him in every aspect of your life today and then survey the results tonight.

Good news bad news. The good news is that this is absolutely correct. God is greater than we could ever imagine and is in 100% control, but in his wisdom and mercy has surrendered control to us for a little while. Yeah’ , we have a pretty poor job in our responsabilities and opportunities this freedom of power offered us.
ReplyDeleteThe bad news is he gave us 4000+ years of History to see how this all works. It is important to know how God he relates to us by having a relationship to him through his word, and "the word" Jesus Christ. In ancient times we have seen many-many-many times over as a people get comfortable and apathetic, their leadership starts growing an aire of deity about themselves. My friends we are once again in those most dreadful of days. It is not too far beyond that point of shunning God, stripping and discounting his place in society; that that the framework he created starts to crumble away, crashing down upon everyone and everything in its path. Peter said "do not be surprised at the things that are happening to you, as if some strange thing were occurring." The writing is on the wall, and we are in the midst of a violent flow away from God in this current time in our generation.
I have said all that to say this. Praise to Jesus Christ, for extending us a type of lifeline in his grace in which to hang on to as to not go with the flow down into the pit of destruction . Attach to him, reflect upon him and know for sure, that these days are temporal, and life, abundant life, eternal life, perfect life with him is not just a possibility today but certain for those who trust him, and spend their time developing a relationship with him. If this life were all there is, how terrible that would be. I know for sure, that this sinful person is overwhelmed at the grace, love and mercy extended by our all powerful savior
